Anna was born in Moscow, Russia and had grown up in Ramat-Gan, Israel.

Anna did her BSc in physics and mathematics at the Tel-Aviv University. She proceeded to an MSc in physics at the WIS under the supervision of Prof. Micha Berkooz in the high energy theory group. Together with a fellow student, Amir Zait, they studied a system of black holes in five dimensions and its possible connection to electronic systems in condensed matter physics.

Her PhD studies are conducted in Prof. Gregory Falkovichs theoretical group in turbulence theory and cloud physics in WIS. In her research so far, Anna focused on the dynamics of tracer particles in turbulent flows. In particular she studied statistical conservation laws for pairs of particles in the flow, and the manifestations of time irreversibility for pairs of particles and a single particle in incompressible as well as compressible flows.  She is currently studying the features of turbulent fluctuations coexisting with a mean flow.

Anna will be beginning her postdoctoral research in Princeton, September 2016.
