Congratulations to Yannai Gonczarowski on receipt of the ACM SIGecom Doctoral Dissertation Award.
This is the most prestigious prize, worldwide, for doctoral dissertations on the interface of economics and computation, awarded annually to one PhD graduate worldwide. (This is the first time in the six-year history of the prize that it was awarded to a recipient who did not get their PhD from a US university.) The award included giving a plenary lecture at the EC 2019, the 20th ACM Conference on Economics and Computation, which is the most important venue on the interface of economics and computation.
Additional prizes Yannai received are:
1. The Best Paper Award at MATCH-UP 2019, the 5th International Workshop on Matching Under Preferences.
2. The Hans Wiener Prize of the Hebrew University, awarded annually to 10 “outstanding” PhD graduates at HUJI throughout all disciplines.
