Eitan is currently an assistant professor at the University of California Irvine. His lab explores the role of sleep in human cognition. Eitan earned his BA in psychology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2010. He then completed his PhD in Neural Computation at the Hebrew University’s Edmund and Lily Safra Center for Brain Sciences under the supervision of Prof. Hagai Bergman. Between 2016 and 2022, he was a postdoctoral fellow at Northwestern University under the supervision of Prof. Ken Paller.
