Elad was born in 1996 and raised in Hadera. From an early age he was fascinated by mathematical problems and riddles, so during high school he pursued a BSc in computer science at the University of Haifa in the exclusive Etgar Program. During his military service, he deepened his knowledge by taking advanced math courses at the Open University, completing them summa cum laude. His passion for mathematics and computer science led him to earn an MSc in mathematics at the Weizmann Institute of Science, advised by Prof. Ran Tessler. He is currently studying for his PhD under the supervision of Prof. Itai Benjamini.

Elad’s research focuses on combinatorics and geometry akin to computer science. In particular, he is interested in finding high-dimensional analogues to various graph constructions and their implications in computer science.  He is also passionate about a wide range of topics, including Algorithms, Cryptography, Probability, Algebra, and Topology.

Elad resides in Ra’anana with his wife, Shir, and their two cats, Flip and Johnny. In recent years he has embraced Vipassana meditation, which brings him peace and joy.
